This is an live zoom presentation (with attendee participation). A similar Tech Valley (2 hour) IMA Event was held in October 2019.  While the content is condensed, additional relevant (post-Covid19) information is added.

If you are involved with a business that has interstate sales this is a valuable presentation. In 2018, The United States Supreme Court ruled (South Dakota v. Wayfair) that states can mandate that businesses without a physical presence collect and remit sales taxes. South Dakota established limits of 200 transactions or $100,000 sales, however since 2018 more than 30 states have established their own limits and requirements.

Please RSVP before Monday (1/18) at 6PM to mhughes@albany.edu to have the ZOOM link emailed to you.  No Registration Fee Required.
